Kjørte fv.42 til p-plassen 900 meter øst for kommunegrensa. Fulgte blåmerket sti forbi en spray-lakkert furu. Gikk øst for Buhagetjørna retning Avdagsfjellets utsiktspunkt. Fortsatte ca 800m mot nordvest til høyeste punkt på Rubbeheia (558). Videre til Midstrandnuten i Evje og Hornes.
